1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between UK Education Bridge (the "Accreditor") and institutions or programs ("Applicants") seeking accreditation. By applying for accreditation, Applicants agree to comply with these terms.
2. Scope of Accreditation
The Accreditor provides independent evaluation and certification of educational programs, institutions, or training providers based on predefined quality standards. Accreditation is voluntary and non-governmental.
3. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- ✓ Be legally recognized institutions/providers in their jurisdiction.
- ✓ Operate for at least 2 years (if applicable).
- ✓ Demonstrate compliance with the Accreditor’s standards.
- ✓ Submit complete and accurate documentation.
4. Application Process
4.1. Submission
- ✓ Applicants must complete the official application form and pay the required fee.
- ✓ False or misleading information may result in disqualification.
4.2. Evaluation
- ✓ The Accreditor conducts desk reviews, site visits (if needed), and peer assessments.
- ✓ The process may take 2 months, depending on complexity.
4.3. Decision
- ✓ Accreditation is granted, deferred (with conditions), or denied.
- ✓ Decisions are final but may be appealed (see Section 8).
5. Fees & Payments
- ✓ Application, evaluation, and annual maintenance fees apply (see Fee Schedule).
- ✓ Fees are non-refundable, even if accreditation is denied.
- ✓ Late payments may result in suspension of accreditation.
6. Rights & Obligations of Accredited Institutions
6.1. Accredited Institutions Must:
- ✓ Maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
- ✓ Submit annual reports and notify the Accreditor of major changes (e.g., curriculum, leadership).
- ✓ Participate in periodic re-evaluations (every 1 year).
6.2. Accredited Institutions May:
- ✓ Use the Accreditor’s logo/marketing materials per branding guidelines.
- ✓ Publicly advertise accredited status.
7. Suspension & Withdrawal of Accreditation
The Accreditor may revoke accreditation if an institution:
- ✓ Fails to meet standards.
- ✓ Provides false information.
- ✓ Violates ethical or legal obligations.
- ✓ Does not pay required fees.
8. Appeals Process
- ✓ Institutions may appeal a denial or revocation within 14 days.
- ✓ Appeals require new evidence or proof of procedural error.
- ✓ A separate appeals fee may apply.
9. Intellectual Property
- ✓ The Accreditor retains ownership of all assessment methodologies, reports, and branding.
- ✓ Institutions may not modify or misuse accreditation certificates/logos.
10. Limitation of Liability
- ✓ The Accreditor is not liable for any institutional losses related to accreditation decisions.
- ✓ Accreditation does not guarantee regulatory approval or student employability.
11. Confidentiality
- ✓ Applicant data is kept confidential unless disclosure is legally required.
- ✓ Peer reviewers sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
12. Amendments
The Accreditor may update these terms with prior notice to accredited institutions.
