Quality Assurance Policy

4. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and review curricula to ensure relevance and rigor.
  • Monitor teaching quality, student performance, and feedback for continuous improvement.

4.3. Faculty & Instructors

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with institutional standards.
  • Participate in professional development and peer reviews.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.

4.4. Administrative & Support Staff

  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of student and institutional services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for QA audits.

4.5. Students

  • Engage actively in learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to academic integrity and institutional policies.

5. Quality Assurance Processes

5.1. Curriculum Development & Review

  • Regular review of programs to ensure alignment with educational goals and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder consultations (faculty, students, industry experts) in curriculum updates.

5.2. Teaching & Learning Evaluation

  • Student feedback surveys at the end of each course/module.
  • Classroom observations and peer reviews for faculty.
  • Analysis of student performance data to identify areas for improvement.

5.3. Assessment & Feedback

  • Clear, fair, and consistent assessment criteria.
  • Timely feedback to students to support their academic progress.
  • Periodic review of assessment methods for validity and reliability.

6. Monitoring & Review

  • The QA Committee will oversee the implementation of this policy.
  • Biannual reports will be submitted to senior management on QA outcomes.
  • The policy will be reviewed every 2 years or as needed for relevance and effectiveness.

7. Policy Compliance

Non-compliance with QA standards may result in corrective actions, including additional training, process revisions, or other measures as deemed necessary by management.

8. Communication & Dissemination

This policy will be made available to all staff and students through the intranet and staff handbook. Training sessions will be conducted to ensure understanding and adherence.

9. Review & Amendments

This policy may be amended as required, with changes communicated to all stakeholders.
